The Object Quality in the options is grayed out for me, so the only setting i can have is Mainstream.. whenever i play the game, bushes and other grassy things (maybe even small rocks) seem to materialize out of nowhere within 15 or 20 feet from me anyone else have/had this problem? does your video card matter when it comes to this?

You cant be ingame. If you are at the menu you can. But while your playing it doesnt allow you.

Also the fact that things materialise in front of you 15 ft away may have something to do with draw distance/ field of view, whichever one you prefer to call it
You can't be in game when you're trying to change the object quality setting. Just change the object quality when you start the game up and you're in the menu.
